[Bad Joose] FRS energy drink SCAM

I’m an active person, and I’m on the internet a lot.    So after seeing the ubiquitous FRS free trial ads which feature ripped athletes i decided to pay $3.99 for shipping and get the free trial supply, knowing that i’d never buy the stuff at full price since all brand name supplements are ridiculously overpriced and never worth it.    So i got the stuff and have taken it and have really found it does zero to increase energy,  i guess it tastes allright for a supplement,  but totally not worth paying full price.
Lance Armstrong - Face man of a Scam

Lance Armstrong - Face man of a Scam

So a few days ago i noticed a rogue deduction from my bank account i had no idea what it was for about 62 bucks.    It said FRS company and i was like WTF is that – i googled it and was like oh man that FRS thing was a total scam after all.   i found a printout of my “free trial” purchased – and logged in.  Yep they charged me for a new auto shipment for 60 bux.     I called them – they said that it was part of the promotion – which i believe is a total lie since when i signed up for the “Free trial” i checked for signs of a scam.   There was no word of me having to do anything or else i would be enrolled in some lame ongoing product buying cycle.   SO now i have to wait for this 60 dollar order to show up at my doorstep, then need to call FRS and then ship it back on my own dollar.     I can’t believe athletes such as Lance Armstrong actually promote this stuff.   It’s a total scam.  Offering a sub par supplement and praying on people in a bad economy.  I now hate Lance because of this as well.    This is a warning to anyone who is considering getting the free trial  – DON’T DO IT.   Or if you do – log in to your account or call them immediately to cancel anything ongoing.     Have a nice day

Im thirty-six and it is hard to keep up with my girlfriend who is twenty-four. She loves to go to clubs and party all night. I do to, but I don’t have the energy that she has and that I used to have. I tried a lot of products that claim to give you energy, but some were ineffective and others made me sick. Trip2night had a perfect blend. I got the energy boost I needed without an upset stomach. It is easy to take. Comes in a powdered form and mixes easily. Just follow the directions and you too will enjoy this product!

Note the asterix next to FREE… I got sucked into the same type of scam with Girls Gone Wild

Apparently you can’t read…do you really think a multi-million corporation would NOT include mention of the 14-day trial period that requires a call to cancel subsequent shipments.

They’d be sued into bankruptcy if they didn’t make that fact prominent in the free trial signup.

    Get real.

Thanks Douchebag – they do not make it very clear at all Ahole. You obviously work for FRS and are trying to CYA. I looked at every page carefully to make sure i didn’t have to do anything so i wasn’t charged for anything ongoing. I want Lance to give me a refund ASAP.

Disappointed especially since it’s a subpar supplement. That’s what really hurts the most. Buying a $4.00 mocha frappucino from Starbucks is a more cost efficient energy drink.

  7. Splat Says:

It’s not hard to read the fine print. Use your brain, avoid being charged extra.

Lance, you should be ashamed of yourself, promoting this snake oil. People are getting scammed by these so-called “free” samples but the biggest scam of all is false advertising. And these “clinical studies” on the FRS website are bogus: If FRS could back them up, why haven’t they won a Nobel Prize yet? Excuse me, I’m gonna eat my apple.
