Cleveland voted least likely to succeed
May 13th, 2009 by why be athletic | Posted in football | 524 viewsProfessional sports hates the city of Cleveland and more specifically fans of the Cleveland Browns. After posting the first 0-16 record in NFL history, I would have bet the rights to JockJoose on the fact that the Detroit Lions would be ranked dead last (#32) in the preseason NFL rankings. Alas, I would have had to hand over the keys to this premier site seeing that Sports Illustrated thought differently – SI.
Tom from Cleveland writes, “I know we are typically perceived as more mediocre than most Americans and that are city has very little entertainment value, but to rank our football team dead last behind the Lions really hurts inside.”
An inside source at JockJoose has confirmed a rumor that Kellen Winslow, former Browns tight end, has taken a part-time position at SI solely to poke jabs at his former Ohio employer who reportedly gave him a staph infection.

[...] 4. Cleveland Browns – Eric Mangini will continue the curse of Belichick assistants and continue to be a poor head coach. Brady Quinn is not ready to make any noise and Jamal Lewis is getting too old to take the beating he used to in this division. Defense = terrible, just like the city of Cleveland overall. [...]
