Do Lance Armstrong’s teammates like him?

July 6th, 2009 by why be athletic | Posted in biking | 124 views

Lance Armstrong is taking a back seat in this year’s Tour de France after a three and a half year hiatus, playing the role of supporting teammate rather than team leader. Instead of going out with the goal of winning the event himself, he will be providing support for new team leader Alberto Contador so that he may have a shot at winning.

Fat chance on that game plan sticking. Lance rides for one reason and that is to win. He may be 37 and out of practice, but no one on this planet would say he has no shot of winning. That said, it is hard to imagine that there is an absence of resentment towards the cycling legend, who at any moment could decide that he is the man who can win the race.

JockJoose is giving the green light to Lance to take over the race because he is a supreme, badass winning machine.
