Brett Favre says he is staying retired. The longtime quarterback tells JockJoose that staying retired and not joining the Minnesota Vikings was the hardest decision he’s ever made. The Vikings had openly courted Favre all summer.

Favre cited the that he didn’t want to go through the minutia of the league such as preseason, meetings, and playbooks.

You’d think that after eighteen seasons, it would become routine, but the man was getting old.
