Former Duke point guard Greg Paulus is returning home to Syracuse where he will compete for the starting quarterback job with the Orangemen. Out of high school, Paulus was the top football recruit, but decided to play basketball instead because he is a bad decision maker. While he found early success at Duke, he was ultimately relegated to a bit role as a senior.

JockJoose had a chance to sit down with the basketball washup for a few minutes:

JJ: What was the reasoning behind Coack K benching you for your senior year?

GP: Coach K is a jagoff. I am awesome at sports. Greg Paulus is Duke.

JJ: Cool. What are your expectations for the upcoming Big East football season?

GP: Heisman. I had a gun in high school and I have one now. I dated the prom queen for christ sake. Greg Paulus is Syracuse.

JJ: What are your thoughts on competing for the starting QB job? It obviously sounds like you are confident you will get it.

GP: Screw those idiots. I am a big time athlete. I made three pointers and now I will throw touchdowns.
