Plax gets waxed by Manhattan DA
August 20th, 2009 by why be athletic | Posted in football | 153 viewsFacing the prospect of spending at least 3 1/2 years behind bars, one-time Super Bowl star Plaxico Burress(notes) on Thursday accepted a plea bargain with a two-year prison sentence for accidentally shooting himself in the thigh at a Manhattan nightclub.
This shouldn’t come as any shock. The guy was carrying around an unlicensed weapon at a night club and it went off. It very well could have been a bullet to someone’s head rather than his own leg. We’re rather enjoying the new trendsetters of the modern athlete era such as Vick and Plax. They are not exempt from the rules and should serve the same hard time in the “PMITA” prison.
Plax was a thug in Pittsburgh, he was a thug in New York, and now he will have to be a super thug in prison to keep his cornhole safe.
