Spankees win, World Series bound

October 26th, 2009 by why be athletic | Posted in baseball | 246 views

We all hoped for a miraculous meltdown, but in the end knew that it probably wasn’t coming. The Yankees turned back the clock with Pettitte, Jeter, Mo, and Posada all playing a part in the win. The crowd was loud, the celebrations fruity, and the outcome less than desirable for all sane baseball fans.

However, we do have a very remarkable World Series headed our way with a Phils team that look more like the Bronx bombers in red. With an American League-type batting order and solid pitching, there may be hope yet that the Yankees yet again blow a huge sum of money with nothing to show for it. Preview to come soon, but first, enjoy the celebration Yanks fans.
