Sports heros

We all have heros that are athletes, but what if we could create our better heros own using movies? Try this little drill….think of a sports movie, take the lead actor, think of an action move the lead actor is, combine to make the ultimate sports hero.

Here are some for you.

1. An underwater-breathing, ocean roaming, stubborn golfer who steals girlfriends with his boyish charm – Kevin Costner in Waterworld and Tin Cup. (Easily replace golfer with baseball player and Tin Cup with Bull Durman as well)

2. A half robotic, judicial machine with a right hook and heart that will ensure you go down – Sly Stallone in Judge Dredd and Rocky 1-43.

3. A high flying, dunking, swindling, tricky, knife wielding undercover agent who stops international terrorists from hijacking a commercial airliner – Wesley Snipes in White Men Can’t Jump, Blade, and Passenger 57.

4. A jailbird, football playing, all guts, dead guy on vacation – Burt Reynolds in the Longest Yard and Weekend at Bernie’s. Worst hero ever?
