Want to know why Dwight Howard and Jameer Nelson sat there on the Magic bench, blank expressions adorning their faces, after that final buzzer? Why Superman and one of his All-Star sidekicks stuck around as the championship trophy podium was hastily assembled and the Lakers stood victorious atop it? [ESPN]
“We love the Lakers,” remarked Howard. “We were really pulling for them this series and it is nice to see them enjoy this moment.”
Jameer Nelson felt similarly to Howard. Smiling, he said,”Kobe is my favorite player in the league. How can you not want the Lakers to win? I knew they could win it and felt in my heart they would, but it is a different emotion actually seeing it. I am swelled up with excitement and enjoyment right now.”
Nelson then jumped in the arms of cape-donning Howard and they flew away into the night.

the lakers won because they have better marketing, and from a coaches stand point better dribbling and hookshot skills. i dont believe superman is actually a superman – gods will, this superman talk will end by next seasons game 1
