Quick hits from the weekend:

*Tiger Woods dominated the rest of the world, going 5-0 in the President’s Cup, en route to a USA victory. This should end the flack he typically gets for “not showing up” to team events such as this and the Ryder Cup.

*Don’t think this Yankees team is going to fail to win it all. Too dominant in all areas for the first time since….1999? (Subway series in ’00 was less impressive)

*Jacksonville Jaguars lost 41-0 to Seattle. Seattle!!! That is like losing 240-0 to Indianapolis! And we say Indy because Indy has vaulted to the top of our NFL rankings (that we don’t publish ever) as Peyton Manning looks invincible. Very unlike that Brady guy….

*Speaking of which….Josh McDaniels slays Belichick! Insane…wonder how many gamblers lost $$ on this one? That is like Luke Skywalker throwing Yoda off a skyscraper.

*The Redskins are potentially the only team in the league that are regressing despite adding players and spending tons of $$. Sunday marked the third time in five weeks that the Skins have given teams their first win (Giants, LIONS, Panthers). Jim Zorn is screwed and there is no way back.

*Cleveland 6 Buffalo 3. What a crap game full of crap players. Trent Edwards is becoming a bust very quickly and TO is going to blow up. No one wanted to see Mangina win a game, but he did unfortunately. The Browns are still the league’s worst team.

*The US won in Honduras and booked a spot in next summer’s World Cup in South Africa. Jump on board the fan-wagon folks. JockJoose will be providing live coverage from all three games by the way. No seriously, we will.

*The Boston Red Sox have lost their magic/luck/whatever it was that had them plowing through teams the last five years. Let the offloading begin…VTek, Lowell, Papi, Drew…big chunk of change to keep on salary there. Don’t expect them to make the postseason next year.

*Michael Vick is a waste of talent. 1 for 3 throwing for 1 yard and 4 rushes for 10 yards. Better than jail though Mikey.

*South Dakota 42 Missouri State 17. The Jackrabbits win! The Jackrabbits win! We need a South Dakota visitor or this madness will continue!!!!
