weekend joose

JockJoose set up camp at Gillette Stadium for the Pats-Ravens game over the weekend. Highlights included:

*Drinking a dozen beers
*Being called a purple f****t for wearing a Baltimore jersey
*Passing out and snoring
*Penalty called anytime Brady got touched (getting ridiculous at this point)

All in all, wicked good matchup. Just when the Pats took control of the game, around came Terrell Suggs with a forced fumble which was fallen on in the endzone to make it a close game. Hoodie Master may have walked away with a victory, but you have to like what the Ravens are doing within their organization (except for fumbling the opening kickoff). Jim Harbaugh gave Team JockJoose the old thumbs up.

Other observations while in a Bud Light induced coma:

*If Detroit keeps scoring points, they will at least be fun to watch regardless of their record.

*Cincy in shambles? Child please. Needed to be more convincing against the JV Brownies, though.

*Houston is Jekyll and Hyde. Which ever one gets Slaton and Andre Johnson in the endzone is the better man.

*Hasselbeck’s injury debacle has really been hurting Seattle the last couple of years. They need to find a QB for the future (hint: it’s not Seneca Wallace)

*Jacksonville – Who is Mike Sims-Walker? I’ll give you a hint – 91 yards and two TDs…and every fantasy league on Earth took notice.

*The Giants can’t win without Eli, which is weird to admit. Everyone got a dose of that reality when he went down, but he looks to be alright.

*Skins win! Skins win! (Ugly! Ugly!)

*Buffalo is officially the biggest disappointment so far this year. Not long before a TO verbal explosion.

*The Saints are for real. The Jets are posers.

*San Fran will run the ball down your throat. Vernon Davis is finally (finally) good.

*Denver will lose their next four games (New England, San Diego, Baltimore, Pittsburgh)

*Note to Phillip Rivers – wake up prior to the fourth quarter next time you play a giant rival.
